Successful Strategies to Support your Overactive Bladder Patients (SSSOP) is a multi-organizational education  initiative designed to provide physicians and healthcare professionals with effective strategies targeted to support patients with overactive bladder issues and bladder health. Because OAB affects more than 33 million people in the US alone, this program provides practical evidence to increase screening, improve diagnosis, and support treatment.

SSSOP builds on the extensive needs assessment project, designed for primary care physicians and practice teams, which was completed in July 2008.  The full needs assessment can be accessed on this website

SSSOP draws on current evidence-based research and thorough needs assessment to offer quality education, tools and resources to support your patients.  The wide range of educational offerings – in both traditional and innovative formats – includes conferences at local and national levels; web-based, print, interactive cases; and handheld tools.  Performance improvement projects focus on improving practices on both an individual and systems level.
