Intended Audience
The target learners for this activity are physicians and healthcare professionals in the family practice setting.

Learning Objectives
Upon completion of this activity, participants should be able to:
•  Incorporate tools and process changes that support proactive screening of male and female patients for OAB and urinary tract symptoms
•  Refine your evaluation skills to diagnose OAB through patient history, physical examination and appropriate testing
• 
Incorporate effective treatment regimens and overall clinical management into practice

Accreditation Statement
This activity has been planned and implemented in accordance with the Essential Areas and Policies of the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME) through the joint sponsorship of Interstate Postgraduate Medical Association (IPMA) and the California Academy of Family Physicians (CAFP).  IPMA is accredited by the ACCME to provide continuing medical education to physicians.

Credit Designation
IPMA designates this continuing medical education activity for a maximum of 20 AMA PRA Category 1 CreditTM. Physicians should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.

This activity has been reviewed and is acceptable for up to 20 credit(s) by the American Academy of Family Physicians.  AAFP accreditation begins April 16, 2010.  Term of approval is two years from this date.

Commercial Support
The  Successful Strategies to Support Your Overactive Bladder Patients (SSSOP) initiative is supported by an educational grant from Pfizer.

Method of Participation
Learners will participate in this educational activity by entering chart documentation on a number of their patients and implementing a performance improvement project into their practice. This activity should take 3 months to complete.

Credit will be issued by IPMA to participants who complete this performance improvement initiative.   A CME certificate will be emailed upon completion.  Please e-mail cmehelp@ipmameded.org if you do not want to receive any communications from us.
